The London club Chelsea had no problem defeating Celtic, coached by Swede Elena Sadiku, at home on Stamford Bridge.

Swedish national team goalkeeper Zecira Musovic kept a clean sheet when Lucy Bronze, Wieke Kaptein, and Ève Périsset each scored a goal to secure a 3-0 win against Scottish bottom team (zero points) in Group B. Chelsea has won four matches out of four possible and is three points ahead of Real Madrid, which beat Twente (three points) 3-2, making the quarterfinals a certainty.

Johanna Rytting Kaneryd played for 58 minutes for Chelsea. National team teammate Nathalie Björn remained on the bench for the entire match.

French Lyon, which lost the spring final against Barcelona, is also clear for the quarterfinals after a 4-1 win over Roma. Although the Italians took the lead away in the 74th minute, Kadidiatou Diani equalized three minutes later and scored again two minutes later to make it 2-1.

Eugénie Le Sommer and veteran Wendie Renard also scored before the match was over.

Lyon is six points ahead of both second-place Roma and third-place Wolfsburg in Group A. In the next round, Roma and Wolfsburg will meet, which means that only one of the teams has a theoretical chance to catch up with Lyon. The French giant will face Galatasaray (zero points) in the next round, which suffered a 0-5 loss to Wolfsburg on Wednesday.

Swedish national team player Rebecka Blomqvist in Wolfsburg was substituted out goalless in the 69th minute. German veteran striker Alexandra Popp scored a hat-trick.
