The slope slide, which was later named Galax, was delivered by the company between 1980 and 2018.
At the time of the accident, a part of the slide, a starting platform, was missing. The company is now urging customers who have a slide that is missing the starting part to purchase a kit that eliminates the risk of children with loose clothing getting caught, the Swedish Consumer Agency writes in a press release.
If you don't buy the starter kit, you should stop using the slide.
It was in December last year that a four-year-old boy had an accident while at his preschool. The boy was playing on the slide when his reflective vest got caught on the edge, and he suffered such serious injuries that he died two days later.
