A preschool-age boy is critically injured after an accident at a preschool in Umeå on Thursday.
The boy is receiving intensive care for critical injuries, reports Västerbottens-Kuriren with reference to Region Västerbotten. The accident occurred on a playground at the preschool.
I cannot tell about the incident itself, only say that it was a serious accident that occurred at our preschool, says the principal to VK.
After the incident, the schoolyard was cordoned off and the police conducted a technical investigation.
The incident is being investigated as assault causing bodily harm.
