McIlroy had to share second place with the Englishman Marco Penge, two strokes after Gotterup.

Behind Åberg, Sebastian Söderberg was the next best Swede, shared 34th after a stable final 69-round.
Jesper Svensson finished shared 43rd, while Henrik Norlander had it tough on Sunday – his 75-round meant a 78th place overall.
Next week's British Open will take place in Portrush, Northern Ireland.
