Over 700,000 people will simultaneously receive notices to pay back taxes totaling SEK 16.3 billion, according to a press release from the Swedish Tax Agency. Those payments must be made no later than September 14.
The final tax notice applies to those who filed their tax return by May 4. Refunds will arrive between June 9 and 12.
