The arrests were made in 38 of the country's 81 provinces, among other things in the country's largest city Istanbul and the capital Ankara, according to Yerlikaya.
The suspects are said to have been active in the movement and contributed financially to it.
Among other things, firearms without licenses, IS documents and digital material have been seized in connection with the arrests.
IS has carried out several attacks in Turkey over the past ten years, including a bombing at a political meeting in 2015, where over 100 people were killed.
