The concert at Brännbollsyran was to be Yasin's first in Sweden in nine years, but was cancelled at short notice. This was when the police said it could not be carried out without danger to the visitors and the artist himself. According to Aftonbladet, the police had uncovered a murder plot.

Now a 15-year-old boy, who was arrested in Stockholm four days before the planned concert, has been sentenced for conspiring to murder an unknown person. According to Södertörn District Court, it is clear that the boy agreed via encrypted chats to carry out a murder. However, it is unknown who the intended victim was.

In the investigation, Yasin has been mentioned in the chats, and according to the prosecutor there were plans to murder a rapper in connection with a concert in Umeå. Whether he was the target of the mission the 15-year-old agreed to carry out is unclear, however. Information in the investigation indicates there were also plots to kill another, unidentified person in Stockholm.

The sentence for the 15-year-old is youth care, which includes 90 days of youth service.

Yasin is one of Sweden's most controversial, but also most influential, rappers. He has previously been sentenced to prison for preparation for kidnapping and aggravated weapons offenses.
