"The hope is that it will contribute to faster relief efforts at an early stage so that more lives can be saved," says Rebecka Andreasson Lindin, service manager for the 112 app at SOS Alarm, in a press release.
The new update in the app shows defibrillators registered in the Defibrillator Register.
"The more people who report possession of a defibrillator to the Defibrillator Register, the better the map coverage will be and the survival rate for victims will improve," says Bodil Berggren, Secretary General of the Swedish CPR Council, in the press release.
