Sveriges Radio P3 has named ten places that have had a decisive impact on Swedish music history since 2000.

The list - which has been compiled by an internal jury consisting of music reporters, music editors, program hosts and producers - highlights environments that have served as springboards for both music and societal development.

The list, in no particular order: Peace & Love Field, Borlänge; Tenstaplan, Majrosskogen and Ginseng-Strip-trappan, Stockholm; Friggebod in Söndrum, Halmstad; Jazzhuset, Gothenburg; Fyrisån, Uppsala; Norra Grängesbergsgatan, Malmö; Scharinska villan, Umeå and Musikmakarna, Örnsköldsvik.
