The Fishing Museum is in Hönö Klåva harbour. It is described as a destination for family trips, with displays about fishing tools and boats used in the past. Normy, a fishing boat, is built into the museum, so visitors can explore a boat as part of the museum itself.

The museum tells the story of fishing crews lost during the Second World War: 31 fishing boats and 91 men were lost, most of them from Öckerö municipality. The displays connect the equipment and boats with the wartime losses described by the museum. Visitors can look through a real submarine periscope to follow shipping traffic at sea, then climb the tower for a view towards Vinga island.

Weekly art exhibitions run from May to September, so they are not on the schedule this week, 3 November 2026. During summer, the fishing boat Kågen is moored outside the museum. The material gives no opening hours, ticket price or suggested visit length, so check those details before setting out.
