Vitbergsbacken is a ski slope about 2km north of Skellefteå city centre, beside Skellefteå Camping and the ski stadium. It has two lifts, two downhill runs, a children’s slope with a moving carpet and a fun park with jumps and rails. The city’s page also lists a luge run and a snowboard run, both open only in daylight because they do not have lighting. The children’s slope is listed as closed for the season; the page does not give current opening hours for the main slopes.

Lift passes are required for the slope. Children under seven ski free but need a keycard, and the children’s slope is free. Online tickets are cheaper than tickets bought at the staffed hut. The full ticket prices, including season passes, are in the price note. The venue says there is no equipment hire at the slope. Fritidsbanken lends skis, snowboards and sledges free for up to 14 days. The warming hut and toilets are in service building 5; visitors can bring food to eat there, and a microwave is available. There is no food for sale in the hut.

For parking, follow signs from Mossgatan to the lot at the foot of the children’s slope, west of the lifts, or drive up Slalomvägen to the top lot. The camping reception car park is reserved for camping guests. The slope closes if the temperature there is -18°C or colder on the morning before opening. Allow time to ski, but the venue does not state how long a visit takes.
