Cold-Nose-Huskies offers a six-hour guided hike with some of its huskies through Lapland forests and bogs. The group walks together, looking for and tracking wildlife. Guides share information about Nordic plants and animals, the area and life in Lapland.

A packed lunch and cold and hot drinks are included. Hikers can pick bilberries, and, if they are lucky, taste cloudberries. The operator says the tour suits people of different ages and experience levels, including solo travellers, couples, families and groups, but requires a basic level of fitness.

The listed season is May to late October, with dates available on request. That period has passed this week, 3 November. The hike takes about six hours. The price is 850 SEK (about US$82/£63) per person, or 425 SEK (about US$41/£31) for children under 12.

Bring sunglasses, sunscreen, mosquito repellent, a day-trip backpack, a water bottle, outdoor clothing and rainwear. Weather or other circumstances can change the tour plan. The operator says guests can talk with Malin or Lars about Lapland's nature and the dogs.
