Wäng Izakaya is a pan-Asian restaurant at Sveavägen 88 in Stockholm. Visit Stockholm describes a menu that brings together Japanese sushi and sashimi, Korean bibimbap bowls, Singapore-style spicy fried rice, Thai Pad Thai and Vietnamese pho.
The restaurant’s own account says two siblings started it in 2017 after wondering whether they could serve Asian flavours in the tapas-style format they had tried at a restaurant. They say the focus is on a variety of Asian tapas made for sharing, drawing on dishes they like rather than one national cuisine.
Wäng Izakaya is open Monday to Thursday from 11:00 to 22:00, Friday from 11:00 to 23:00 and Saturday from 12:00 to 23:00. It is closed on Sundays. The restaurant’s website lists the phone number +46 8 121 468 98. Its Midsummer notice says it closes over that holiday, but the notice does not give dates for this year. The published opening hours do not state prices or how long a meal takes.
