SKHLM Konsthall is a contemporary art space inside Skärholmen centre. It presents exhibitions, workshops, talks and performances, with local perspectives in conversation with national and global art. Its programme brings forward stories and artists connected to the surrounding area.
The address is Storholmsgatan 16, inside the centre and opposite Myrorna. During exhibitions, the art hall is open Wednesday to Sunday, 12:00 to 16:00. Plan around those hours and check that an exhibition is running: the venue describes these as its opening hours during exhibitions. A visit can include an exhibition, or a workshop, talk or performance when one is scheduled.
FOLK i Skärholmen runs the art hall in collaboration with SKHLM Centrum, with support from the Swedish Arts Council and the City of Stockholm. The annual Skärholmen spring salon has an open call published in December and running until February. Artists with a connection to Skärholmen or nearby areas can apply, whether established or not.
