Rentbike lets visitors book bicycles online and collect them from one of its Stockholm pickup points. Its range includes electric bikes, mountain bikes, transport bikes and children’s bikes. The company says mountain bikes are listed under its Stockholm Södermalm location. Rentals are available for a day or several days; the supplied information does not state prices.

Guided tours start from Stockholm City or Södermalm and are offered every day, according to Rentbike. They last around two to three hours and travel at a relaxed pace, with stops for stories, photos and short breaks. A local guide covers Stockholm’s history, architecture and local life, including Gamla stan and the Royal Palace. Tours are available in Swedish and English, and are also offered in Dutch. Rentbike says they suit beginners as well as experienced cyclists.

The company describes cycling as a way to reach places including the Vasa Museum, Avicii Arena, Tele2 Arena and Djurgården, where it lists museums, cafés and bathing places. It says Stockholm has more than 1,100 kilometres of bicycle paths. Book online, choose a date and use “Search bikes” to see the available bikes or tours for the chosen destination.
