Mad Axe Throwing Club runs coached axe-throwing sessions at Kammakargatan 18 in central Stockholm. The venue says it is open daily from 12:15 to 21:00. Rådmansgatan, on the red metro line, is the nearest station.

Groups start with a safety briefing, then learn how to hold and throw an axe with an Axe Coach. After practice, the coach explains the scoring and the group holds a tournament. No previous experience is needed. Sessions are for groups of two to 30; the club has four separate throwing zones. It also takes larger corporate and event groups of up to 70 by arrangement.

Prices start at SEK 350 (about $34.0/£27.0) per person. Online booking requires a SEK 350 (about $34.0/£27.0) deposit for the whole group, with the balance paid on site by card or Swish. The deposit is non-refundable if you cancel, do not arrive or change the booking less than 72 hours before the session. The club allows free rebooking when you contact it more than 72 hours ahead.

A session includes about 60 minutes of throwing; plan to be there for around one to one and a half hours, including the briefing. Arrive 15 minutes before the start. Closed-toe shoes are required, and comfortable clothes are recommended. People aged 18 or over can throw independently. Younger participants need a guardian to stay throughout and sign for them. Mad Axe does not sell food, but guests may bring snacks and non-alcoholic drinks; alcohol is not allowed during the activity.
