Fotografiska brings photography, art and culture together at Stadsgårdshamnen 22 in Stockholm. Visit Sweden describes it as one of the world’s largest gathering places for modern photography. Its programme includes four main exhibitions and around 20 smaller exhibitions a year. There is a book and souvenir shop, a photo gallery, a restaurant and a café on the top floor, where visitors can see a panoramic view of Stockholm.

The venue’s calendar lists events and experiences, and Fotografiska offers photography courses and workshops. The shop sells posters, photo books, design items and accessories. Gift cards can be used for membership, shop purchases, food and coffee. Members can visit as often as they like and receive invitations to previews and other events.

Food at the restaurant is seasonal, and the venue says its cooking is sustainable. Visit Sweden says chef Paul Svensson signs the menu. It also reports that the restaurant was named Sweden’s best by Eat Guide’s 360° in 2019, a past award rather than a current ranking. As of Monday, 2 November, Fotografiska’s homepage says it opens tomorrow at 10:00.
