Ängbybadet is a municipal bathing area in Bromma, along Blackebergsvägen. It has two sandy beaches, several jetties and large lawns, with the site divided into west and east sections. Visitors can swim, use the beach-volleyball court or take children to a small playground with swings and spring riders.

The site has changing rooms and toilets. The west section has an accessible toilet, while the east section has two dry toilets. There are two showers, one in each section. A restaurant and kiosk with outdoor seating are also at the bathing area.

Two concrete ramps help wheelchair users and people using walkers get down to the water. Ängbyplan metro station is about 700 metres away.

The city’s page, updated on 30 July 2025, carries an advisory against swimming at Östra Ängbybadet for the whole season because of poor bathing-water quality. The notice is dated 2025, so it does not establish the water conditions this week.
