As of Saturday, 7 November, the museum is outside its public opening season. The 2026 season ran from 23 June to 9 August, Tuesday to Sunday, 12:00–17:00. Outside those dates, the car museum is shown only to booked groups. The café and shop kept the same hours as the museum during the season.
The collection traces car development from the late 19th century to the present. Around 60 veteran and classic cars are on display, including a 1936 Mercedes 540K once owned by Prince Gustaf Adolf and a 1939 Cadillac V8 once owned by King Gustaf V. The hall also has a 1955 Mercedes 300 SL “Gullwing”, a 1931 Cadillac V16 ordered by Ivar Kreuger, and two cars from 1898: a Hertel and a Clément-Panhard. Around 50 model veteran aircraft hang overhead; the largest, a 1942 B-17 Flying Fortress, has a 3.2-metre wingspan. Old enamel signs and petrol pumps are also part of the display.
Admission is 150 SEK (about US$15.0) per person, with free entry for children under 12. Booked groups pay a guide fee of 1,500 SEK (about US$150) and 120 SEK (about US$12.0) per person per museum. The separate carriage museum, with around 60 carriages and sleighs, is also shown to groups by booking. Contact the venue by email to arrange a group visit.
