Oxelösunds Järnvägsmuseum is based at the locomotive shed in Oxelösund. The shed was built between 1920 and 1938, and the museum’s exhibition hall covers the railway’s history in the town, the Gränges group’s role in its expansion and the earlier use of vehicles now kept as museum pieces. Displays include objects connected to that history.

The collection includes several historic rail vehicles. The museum’s website names a standard-gauge Jenbach locomotive, four passenger coaches built for TGOJ and a Nohab Z63 shunter. It says most of the vehicles date from around the 1950s and can only be seen in Oxelösund.

The association also runs themed train journeys each year. Its website’s mobile version brings together information on trips, events and rail traffic, along with audio information for the museum.
