Dufweholm Manor is outside Katrineholm in Södermanland, on the shore of Duveholm Lake. The estate is also a hotel, and its museums and collections belong to the Åström family. The displays cover local and everyday history: they include a country store described as 100 years old and a folk museum with a printing press, a barber shop and a pharmacy. The manor also has what it calls Sweden’s largest corkscrew collection.
The small summerhouse is part of the collection. Albert Engström and Zorn painted illustrations there, which visitors can look at. The manor’s history section says it has had 22 owners over the centuries, and recounts family feuds, years of poor harvests and affairs, as well as weddings and receptions.
The grounds include a garden beside the lake. The manor also describes historic salons serving classic food inspired by the surrounding area, and a spa in the former coachman’s house. No ticket price, museum opening hours or suggested visit length are stated.
