Ljungbergmuseet displays permanent works by Sven Ljungberg and Ann Margret Dahlquist, alongside temporary exhibitions. This autumn’s exhibition is by Malmö-based artist Viktor Rosdahl. It features new paintings of inner and outer mountain landscapes. Rosdahl, who received the Sven and Ann Margret Ljungberg Memorial scholarship in 2018, is exhibiting at the museum for the second time.

The museum’s collection and temporary shows offer two parts of a visit: works by Ljungberg and Dahlquist on permanent display, and exhibitions that change over time. The current show puts Rosdahl’s new paintings alongside those permanent works.

Next to the museum is Sven Ljungberg’s studio, in a building dating from 1937. Visitors can book a guided tour of the studio. After the tour, the museum café serves freshly ground coffee on a self-service basis. The museum’s architecture was designed by Pontus Ljungberg, Sven’s son.
