Linnéa & Basilika serves Southeast Asian food at Älmhult’s handelsplats. Visit Sweden describes it as a family-owned chain whose cooking draws on Vietnamese and Thai recipes; the restaurant says dishes are prepared to order with fresh ingredients. A&M Sushi & Bowls also serves sushi inside.

The lunch buffet runs on weekdays that are not public holidays, from 11:30 to 14:30, and costs 155 SEK (about $15.5, or £12.2). It includes a drink, salad, coffee and a small sweet. The buffet has rotating hot dishes, plus fried chicken, fried prawns, wok-fried vegetables, egg noodles, vegetarian spring rolls and sauces. The restaurant says it does not repeat a wok dish within the same week. It describes the lunch buffet as lactose-free and says its buffet uses chicken fillet, pork fillet, sirloin, fresh vegetables and herbs.

Lunch is available to take away, with a canned drink included. Visit Sweden also lists a weekend buffet.
