Hofmantorp säteri rents out renovated crofts in lakeside and secluded locations near Hovmantorp. Guests live as they did on the farm, without electricity or running water. At a nearby lake, a pier and rowing boat are included in the rent, and visitors can swim and fish.

The estate also offers nature tourism based on fishing and hunting. It says it manages woodland with attention to nature and wildlife conservation, and runs extensive farming with grazing animals. Its history includes a mid-17th-century valuation, and the estate says Queen Christina sold the farm to Colonel Skytte after his return from the Thirty Years’ War.
