Getnö–Lake Åsnen Resort is a private nature-conservation area on Lake Åsnen, developed by the Olsson family. The farm says its history reaches back to the Viking Age. It sits beside Åsnen National Park, and Getnö is a water route into the park. Visitors can take a canoe, kayak or boat, or cycle and walk to Toftåsa Myr and Trollberget, the park’s western entrance. Lake Åsnen has an archipelago of more than 1,000 islands.

The resort offers detached cabins and campsites, as well as guided outings with local guides. Options include pike safaris, zander trolling, osprey safaris, guided boat tours in the national park, storytelling and mushroom excursions. The resort says it keeps guided trips to small groups to offer a more local experience and reduce disturbance to nature.
