Estvalls bageri och konditori has locations in Moheda and Alvesta. It sells lunch baguettes and sandwiches, as well as cakes and cookies, including cakes made to order. Visit Sweden says the bakery’s hand-rolled rye pretzels are famous in the area and can be enjoyed on the retro-inspired upper floor. Estvalls says it is especially proud of its prize-winning kringlor.

The bakery says it makes everything by hand without added preservatives. It tries to use ingredients from nearby producers where possible. Its owner, Marica, says tradition matters alongside new and creative ideas.

Visit Sweden suggests combining a coffee stop in Moheda with a Sunday flea-market round. It says there are several flea markets in the area, making Sunday a good day to visit them after a café stop.
