S/V Isolda was built in iron at Lödöse shipyard in 1902 and delivered to the Gothenburg shipping company Korn & Kjellberg. It carried coffee to South America and later called at ports around the world. The association describes it as the last Swedish sailing vessel to sail in ocean service. Isolda was heritage-listed in 2002.
The schooner is now at Gotenius Varv in Gothenburg, where volunteers are restoring it. The website lists workdays rather than regular public opening hours. The next scheduled dates are 6 and 7 November 2026, followed by 27 and 28 November. Work starts around 9:00–9:30 and runs until about 16:00–17:00; the hours are flexible. Dates can change, so contact the association beforehand. Members work on tasks that vary with the weather and ability, and the association serves coffee in the aft house. Bring lunch.
