Restaurang Röda Sten serves lunch throughout the year, with homemade pastries and coffee. Its kitchen offers a variety of dishes from different countries, and Sundays include a vegetarian offer called “Meat Free Sundays”. Visitors can plan a meal around lunch or stop for coffee and pastry; the Sunday offer gives them a vegetarian option.

The restaurant is in a former heating plant that now houses a cultural centre. The harbour entrance and Älvsborg Bridge are in view from the site. In summer, the restaurant opens for evening dining, and selected DJs play on the terrace on special days. Lunch, homemade pastries, coffee and vegetarian Sundays are offered all year, while evening dining and the terrace DJ events are part of the summer offer. The food draws on dishes from different countries, and the Sunday offer is vegetarian. A visit can therefore centre on a meal, coffee and pastry, or summer evening dining with music on the terrace.
