Quality Hotel The Book occupies two buildings in Gothenburg. One previously housed a printing house, which gave the hotel its name. The former printing-house building contains the entrance, lobby and breakfast dining room. The modern building has 15 storeys and holds the hotel’s 215 rooms, a restaurant and a bar. Its interior takes design cues from printing, with typography, colour and pattern used throughout.

There are 114 family rooms, with space for up to four people. They have folding bunk beds, and many have connecting doors for larger groups or several families travelling together. The hotel says it is suited to families, groups, sports teams and active travellers.

The Social Bar & Bistro serves hotel guests and visitors. The restaurant can host family dinners, private groups and larger parties. Breakfast is served as a buffet in the dining room in the former printing-house building. Other facilities include lounge areas, a bar, a gym, a garage and a summer terrace. Liseberg and World of Volvo are among the nearby attractions. Scandinavium, Ullevi and the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre are within walking distance. The hotel and its restaurant are certified with the Nordic Swan Ecolabel.
