Musikens Hus is a live-music venue with two stages: a smaller one in the café/restaurant and a larger one. Artists from around the world perform there across different genres. Its programme includes live acts, DJs, festivals featuring local bands and club nights. The venue also has rehearsal studios used by around 70 bands, and offers dance and music classes on evenings and weekends.

On the ground floor, Hängmattan Kök & Bar is a restaurant with its own stage. Smaller bands play there a few times a week, and those concerts are often free of charge. The restaurant serves a vegetarian lunch buffet from Monday to Friday. Hängmattan is described as open all days and nights of the week. Visitors can find concerts on the smaller restaurant stage, while the larger stage is elsewhere in Musikens Hus. The venue’s other activities include band rehearsals and evening or weekend classes in dance and music.
