Liseberg has rides for different ages and appetites for speed. Visit Sweden describes Helix as Scandinavia’s longest and fastest rollercoaster. Mechanica spins riders 360 degrees, 30 metres in the air. AtmosFear is described as Europe’s largest free-fall attraction, while Balder is a wooden rollercoaster named the world’s best.
Kaninlandet is the children’s area, home to Liseberg’s green rabbit mascots. Its rides include Flygis, Cyklonen and the teacup-shaped Kaffekopparna. The area is open all year; in 2026 it is open every weekend. Elsewhere in the park, visitors can find restaurants, games, shops and gardens. The restaurants are ISO-certified.
This week falls within Liseberg’s Halloween season, which runs from October to early November. Its Christmas season begins in mid-November and continues until January. The park also has a summer season from April to September. In summer, Stora Scen hosts concerts by local and international artists. The park says it aims to make the stage Gothenburg’s leading venue for live music.
The park’s range includes rides, gardens and concerts, so visitors can choose how to spend their time, from trying major attractions to visiting Kaninlandet or listening to music. The available information does not give a visit duration or ticket prices.
