Lillpuben is a small pub at Storgatan 21 in Sandviken. It says it has been a meeting place since the 1980s, and invites visitors to come for a chat on Wednesdays or join the Friday evening crowd. The pub has four beers on tap.

The menu includes nine burgers, a steak sandwich called “Sandvikare” for 245 SEK (about $23.3, or £18.4), and a Sloppy Joe for 169 SEK (about $16.1, or £12.7), with a meat or vegetarian/vegan version. A falafel plate costs 165 SEK (about $15.7, or £12.4). The menu also includes snacks, a children’s menu and desserts. Some dishes, including the steak sandwich and falafel plate, are marked as not available for takeaway.

The pub is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. It opens Wednesday and Thursday from 16:00 to 22:00, Friday and Saturday from 16:00 to 01:00, and Sunday from 14:00 to 21:00. You can book by calling or emailing; the pub asks larger groups to get in touch.
