He is awarded the Eric Ericson Prize

Alexander Lüken from Germany took home the victory when the prestigious competition for young choir conductors, Eric Ericson Award, had its final concert in Stockholm. "We have experienced an extremely well-prepared conductor, with great artistic courage and ability to create a sense of mutual trust with the singers", the jury writes in its motivation.
