Swedish Record Shop Adds Beer as Abolished Food Requirement Opens Doors to New Businesses

Hairdressers, flower shops and campsites have started serving strong beer since the food requirement for alcohol permits was lifted this summer. Around 100 businesses have benefited from the regulatory change. Customers think it’s great, says Peo Wahlin, who serves wine and beer in his record store in Norrköping.
