Royal Swedish Opera to Open New Stage With Alexander Ekman Ballet and Verdi’s Requiem
A surreal dance performance about desire and a large-scale opera version of Verdi's “Requiem” will inaugurate the Royal Swedish Opera's new stage in Norra Djurgårdsstaden. The opera also hopes to attract new audiences. “We are raising the bar,” says Fredrik Lindgren, the opera's CEO.
