Swedish AI outperforms doctors in spotting heart attack risk on X-rays
A new Swedish AI model has been shown to be better than human expertise at interpreting X-ray images and thus identifying people at risk of suffering a heart attack. For patients, this can be very important in understanding their future risk and how best to prevent a heart attack, says Johan Malmqvist, cardiologist and researcher at Karolinska Institutet.
