Allegation of Longer Sentence for Swedish Journalist Medin in Turkey Dismissed

The Swedish journalist Joakim Medin risks up to 27 years' imprisonment in Turkey after allegations of spreading terrorist propaganda, reports Reporters Without Borders for the Journalisten newspaper. Medin's lawyers, however, estimate the maximum sentence to 12 years' imprisonment, according to ETC's editor-in-chief Andreas Gustavsson.
