Police alarm was raised to a residence in Varberg municipality during the day after information that a man had hit a woman. Police arrive at the scene and make contact with both parties. The woman states that she has been restrained and hit, and that it should not be the first time the man has been violent. The man and woman have a close relationship. The 30-year-old man is arrested on suspicion of assault. There is no information that the woman needed hospital care.
