Several police patrols are ordered to a residential home for young people in Knivsta due to the fact that staff and residents there are said to have been chased by a girl with a knife.

When the girl, despite a police order, refused to hand over the knife, the patrol was forced to use a stun gun (ECV) to gain control of the girl.

No one is said to have been injured in connection with the incident, which the police are investigating as attempted murder, alternatively attempted grievous assault.

The girl, who is a minor, has been handed over to medical care.
