
Woman suspected of vandalism at the mosque in Uppsala.
The police receive calls from the public that a woman should paint or graffiti the mosque in Uppsala. According to the informant, the woman is supposed to have a bicycle.
On the scene it turns out that the woman has graffitied the words "Häck väck lingonsäck" with larger letters on a window belonging to the building. A swastika-like symbol is also found.
Quite soon a woman on a bicycle, who matches the description, is stopped and checked. It turns out to be the woman in question.
In connection with the woman, who is in her mid-30s, being checked, a knife and a jar of blood are found, which the police suspect have been used to paint the mosque.
The woman is initially arrested suspected of gross vandalism, incitement to hatred against a group of people and a knife law offense, but she is later released after questioning.
The police suspect no political or religious motives.
