Almost immediately after 17:30, the police were alarmed by the public about an object that they perceived as potentially dangerous at a location in Öster in central Katrineholm. The police are on the scene with several units to handle this and assess whether the object can be dangerous or not. They are now also working to empty the relevant area of people and set up a cordon while the work at the scene is ongoing. We appeal to the public to respect the cordons that are being made and listen to the directives that the police on the scene are communicating. It's also good to know that the traffic through the area is naturally affected by the work at the scene. Choose another route.
