Here follow a selection of the night's events:

01:50 Drunk driving, Umeå
Police stop and inspect a vehicle in Umeå. The driver, a 45-year-old man, lacks the right to drive the vehicle and suspicion arises that he is also under the influence of narcotics. A blood test is performed and an interrogation is held. A report is filed regarding suspected drunk driving, minor narcotics offense (both use and possession) as well as unauthorized driving. The case is handled with the faster prosecution method.

06:03 Traffic offense, Umeå
On county road 603 in Klockarbäcken in Umeå, a passenger car is stopped and inspected. A fine (penalty) is issued due to unpaid vehicle tax for the car being driven.

The police have also carried out several checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of crime.

A wildlife accident outside Kvarnåsen, Lycksele, has been reported to the police in the morning. There are no reports of personal injuries.
