Here follow a selection of the night's events:

23.25 Narcotics Offense, Piteå:
During a stop and check of a car in Piteå, suspected narcotics are found and seized. A report is filed regarding a minor narcotics offense.

01.07 Vandalism, Haparanda:
A police patrol is dispatched to central Haparanda due to vandalism. An unknown perpetrator has caused damage to a window on a property. The patrol files a report.

04.27 Wildlife Accident, Arvidsjaur:
Police are informed of an accident involving a truck and an elk on county road 373 near Boksel. No personal injuries are reported. The fate of the elk is unclear and a tracker is called in.

06.20 Wildlife Accident, Pajala:
Police are informed of an accident involving a small truck and a reindeer on county road 886, Naakajärvi. No personal injuries are reported. The reindeer was injured in the accident. The relevant Sami community is notified of this.

Police have also conducted checks of people and vehicles that have not resulted in any suspicion of a crime.
