Under the afternoon, police were called to a store in the Hageby area of Norrköping due to a security guard being subjected to violence.

It was when the security guard was checking a person who had stolen in the store that the man attacked the security guard by taking a chokehold.

The security guard managed to get the man under control and police apprehended him in accordance with the law on apprehension of intoxicated persons.

The man, who is in his 60s, is suspected of violence against a public official and petty theft.

The security guard was not physically injured in the incident.
