During the day, police conducted traffic checks in the county. Here is a selection of the results of the checks.

06:07 Sågvägen, Furuvik, Lycksele: 197 drivers were asked to blow into the police screening device, and all were sober.

07:41 Kolbäcksvägen, Ersboda, Umeå: A fine of 2,400 kronor was issued to a driver who had been travelling at 99 kilometres per hour in an 80-kilometre-per-hour zone.

07:58 E4 Sävar, Umeå: A fine of 2,400 kronor was issued to a driver who had been travelling at 130 kilometres per hour in a 110-kilometre-per-hour zone.

08:02 County Road 365, Norräng, Lycksele: A total of 2,000 kronor in fines was issued to the driver of a vehicle with a damaged number plate and a broken brake light.

08:17 Riksvägen, Nordmaling: A fine was issued to a driver who failed to yield.

08:20 Timmervägen, Södermalm, Lycksele: Two on-the-spot fines were issued to drivers who were not wearing seat belts while driving.
