During the night into Sunday, shortly before 3:00 a.m., police found an assaulted man in Stenstan, Sundsvall. He is in his 20s and had to be taken for medical care; the extent of his injuries is unknown.

Following further investigative work, police brought in a suspect for questioning during the morning. The man, who is in his 25s, is now in custody. The offence is classified as aggravated assault.

During the day, another man was arrested in absentia and subsequently taken into custody by police. The man, who is in his 30s, is suspected of aiding and abetting aggravated assault.
