At a traffic control on the E45 at Laiksjö, Dorotea Municipality, a driver tested positive on the police screening instrument. Further testing was carried out and a report of drunk driving is to be filed.
On Centralgatan in Holmsund, Umeå Municipality, a driver was issued a fixed penalty notice for driving at 48 kilometres per hour in a 30 zone.
Everyone who passed the sobriety check on Hamngatan in Kåge, Skellefteå Municipality, passed without remark.
In Klemensnäs, Skellefteå, a fixed penalty notice was issued for speeding.
Police checked a moped in a village north of Umeå. The driver does not have a driving licence, and suspicion of unlawful driving and permitting unlawful driving arose. The moped was seized. The case is being handled through the faster prosecution procedure.
Police checked a car in Åsele and suspected that the driver was intoxicated. Testing was carried out and a report of drunk driving is to be filed.
