Västernorrland, results from some of today’s traffic controls.
A sobriety check was carried out on Östra Kanalgatan in Härnösand. All 30 drivers who were checked were without remarks.
On the E4 near Fröland, Härnösand Municipality, nine penalty notices were issued and two driving licences were seized due to speeding violations.
Police checked a car in Örnsköldsvik. Suspicion arose that the driver, a woman in her 50s, was under the influence of drugs. A sample was taken and a report concerning suspected driving under the influence and minor drug offence, personal use, is to be filed.
