An elderly woman on Kungsholmen was the victim of aggravated theft when a man entered her home and left with the complainant’s jewellery.
The man’s modus operandi was to make home visits to help elderly people with their everyday chores. The woman noticed soon afterwards that her jewellery was missing and reported it.
The suspect was arrested shortly afterwards and is now in custody on suspicion of, among other things, aggravated theft and preparation for fraud. The man is suspected of having committed further crimes using a similar modus operandi, and the police are now investigating this.
