A man has fallen into the water, and police are investigating whether a crime has been committed.
Police, emergency services and an ambulance are called to Vettersgatan following a near-drowning in the canal. The emergency services pull the man out of the water. Life-saving measures are initiated and the man is taken to hospital.
In light of the circumstances at the scene, together with, for example, interviews with witnesses, the police open a preliminary investigation into aggravated assault to determine whether a crime was committed when the man ended up in the water.
The man himself has not yet been able to be interviewed about the incident.
